MPRC, a 501(c)(3) organization, was formed in 1984 with the goal of teaching everyday people the skills to participate in the decision-making processes that affect their daily lives. We are widely recognized for our effectiveness in engaging Mainers in organizing for social change, many of whom have never been involved in community issues or the political process.
